The heart beats more peacefully when one surrenders to his/her circumstances.*
I am not in love with my man; never will be. But, he is good to me. The positives outweigh the negatives. I surrender to the gift of someone loving me by loving him back. It's okay not being 'in love' -- true love is an action, not a dreamlike state of expectations. And... I have found by loving someone else, I love myself even more.
Surrender sets me free and sends me Grace.
*As long as one is not in danger!

Bumps
The road is sprinkled with bumps, from beginning to end. That's reality. However, one has the choice deal with them with fear-based reaction or Grace-full response. This is my goal. Grace over Fear.

Moderation
Balance is a key element in living with Grace. Moderation in every aspect of the day keeps one from drifting off-course. Being conscious of the moment and how it's being managed actually sets one free. Excess -- of anything from food to love to sex to spending , and the list is infinite -- leads to imbalance in the spirit. Then, the discomfort sets in and one needs spend precious energy to regain equilibrium. Moderation keeps the spiritual bankbook balanced and, in turn, liberates and helps one draw closer to a state of Grace.

Lightness
Grace is living light.
Discard excess; too much stuff makes it tedious to move. Cast away psychic baggage; it only weighs your soul down. Don't fret so much; save your anxiety-response for a time when you'll really need it. Keep it simple; a cluttered lifestyle inhibits your ability to be conscious of Grace... even when it's staring at you in your face.
By living light, you are free to simply be. And, that's enough.

Grace of Release
My output on these pages is superficial. I'm not digging deeply into whatever it is that gets me to stray off course. However, what little I've been sprinkling out of my soul and into this cyber-notebook has become a freeing experience. I'm releasing inner demons, reflecting on what is good in my life and, by effect, moving forward and feeling happier, lighter and freer,
In releasing the psychic toxins that block me from being my true self, I am finding Grace.

Freeeee!
Being conscious of the Grace resident in the moments of your day sets you free. Grace is the good stuff. It gives you the energy to turn a corner or reset your sail toward a better direction. It allows you to change your attitude to one that gives peace instead of anxiety. It gives you permission to be yourself!
I have a tendency to submit to the people in my surroundings and I lose myself in the exchange. I dishonor my self by allowing myself to get trapped! I dig into dark comfort zone inside my soul for escape; instead, I find myself even further restrained. But, Grace is the light that sets me free from the downward pull of the infernal darkness. By being conscious of the beauty in the moment -- the bitter and the sweet -- and the beauty of my being, I am free.

Graceful exression
Grace saturates Ken Burn's series on the National Parks. -- America's Best Idea. The landscapes are brilliant manifestations of Nature's perfection, but the human stories that the series brings alive are filled with the best in the human spirit's connection with natural world. I know my heart comes alive when I'm up at altitude in the mountains in a way that doesn't happen in my daily life. It sings; it thumps a peaceful beat; it is reverent; it is reflective; it is renewed. It is home. Bravo to Mr. Burns!
